What people ask before fitting cameras

How many CCTV cameras do I need?
It depends on the ways into your site, not on the size of it. A home usually needs four - gate, parking, staircase and back boundary. A shop needs four to eight. A godown or factory starts at sixteen. Tell us the site and we will mark the positions with you, free of cost.
How many days of recording will I get?
Thirty days is what we quote as standard for a normal system. More cameras or a higher resolution need a bigger disk for the same thirty days, and recording only on motion stretches it much further. Whatever you ask for is what the disk in your proposal is sized to hold.
Can I see the cameras on my phone?
Yes - live view and playback, from anywhere, on as many phones as your family or staff need. We set it up before we leave and show you how to find footage of a particular date and time yourself.
What happens when the power goes out?
Without backup, the cameras and the recorder stop - which is exactly when many incidents happen. We quote a small UPS for the recorder and the power supply so the system keeps recording through a normal cut.
Do you repair a system somebody else installed?
Yes. We take over and repair existing systems, including ones where the original installer has disappeared. Usually the cable and the power supply are the problem, not the cameras.
Is there any service after installation?
The first year of service visits is free. After that our CCTV AMC at Rs 2,500 a year covers two visits - cleaning, refocusing, connection checks and a written report on the hard disk and how many days it is actually holding.
